How to find out if you got accepted - Come here

@ wej

Thanks. Although it kinda makes me sad that you might have been rejected.

I can’t login…i guess im rejected?

My son tried to get on again, but got several invalid responses, but then eventually got the “you’re in” screen. As noted, though, this may not mean an acceptance.

do you think they update it alphabetically by last name?? my last name starts with B so i prob didnt get in but every one else who can access the “you’re in” page, what are your last names?

Uhh, I doubt it. I think they do it randomly. My last name starts with one of the last 5 letters, and I was able to log in this morning.

maybe they are going backwards? lol

Did anyone who has been able to successfully log in also get an email?

@ trackkid4224

Hmmm…

@ swampscottsue

Nope. No e-mail here. I think I read that someone called the Vassar office today, and that the lady said the e-mails should come today or tomorrow.

I can’t login, I tried at about 2pm this afternoon and just now and I keep getting the invalid notice. I REALLY hope I’m not rejected, Vassar is my #1 :(

It worked for me! Keeping my fingers crossed that it’s legitimate. :D

didn’t work for me. i think it’s unlikely that so many cc’ers would be rejected from Vassar though-- maybe there is something more to it?

^I hope there is. But as far as I can see, it seems legit. My only consolation is the fact that some people are getting in after being kept out several times.

Disregard this post - i’m a moron

What is the other link that was given in the admissions e-mail awhile back? I have secure3.vassar.edu/applicants/ but it doesn’t seem to work for me.

Fair warning to all… CC’ers have had their acceptances revoked for using means such as these to try and figure out whether they’d been accepted before the notification date… Stanford transfers either last year or the year before come to mind. So, y’know… this is one of those at-your-own-risk things.

Oh, seriously?

i find it highly unlikely that vassar would rescind acceptance for something like this … i mean, they clearly didn’t make a huge effort to hide it from the public :P

Well, it’s better to be safe than sorry. I’m taking down the link on my other thread.

I’m not telling you what Vassar will or won’t do. Ain’t meant as a threat or something, I’m simply providing this information for your reading pleasure. Haha I would love you all to come here, I have no reason to try and scare you.

Damn. I guess it’s time we hope nothing bad happened. But honestly… Rescinding acceptance because you tried to find out your admission result before mail date?
