How to get accepted into an International School?

My dream school is University of Manchester. I was wondering what are some things I can do to improve my resume and increase my chances into getting accepted. I will be a junior in the fall and these are my stats as of right now:
UW GPA: 3.7 W: N/A

  • I’m Taking all honors classes and I took APUSH my sophomore year
  • I row and play soccer
  • I volunteer very heavily

Junior Year AP Expected Classes:

  • APUSH , AP Lang, AP Environmental Science, AP Bio

Senior Year AP Expected Classes.
-AP Lit, AP Latin, AP Chem, AP Stat

I know UK schools don’t place high emphasis on ec’s so what else can I do to make myself a strong candidate. I also plan to read (major) in Biology. Thanks in advance!

Rowing will help.
Not as much as in the US though.
You will need a 5 in AP Bio, AP chem, and AP calculus AB. So, switch AP stats for AP calculus and make sure you work toward 5s.

Calculus AB isn’t offered at my school, but I am thinking about taking it online my senior year.

What forms or calculus are offered?

Only pre-calculus and regular calculus, but this course is only offered to a few select students.

Take calculus and take the AP test.

Besides academics, is there anything else I should do?

Not really. If you can get a strong mark in Math II subject test before you apply that might help deal with the math.

Write a decent PS / have a decent LoR, apply with your 5 in AP Bio, a predicted 5 in Chem and a predicted 5 in Calc BC and/or a high Math II score, and you are very likely to get an offer. Note that it is likely to be conditional on achieving the 5 in Chem & something in Math (whatever you apply with as predicted).
