My son was waitlisted. Loyola is his first choice. What are his chances and what should he do to get in?

He should visit campus again and make sure someone knows he was there and write a letter reiterating his interest in the school.

Yes, he should defintely write a letter statig why he likes Loyola and what he will bring to Loyola. Also, if he has any new things to add to his application, such as awards, etc. or good 3rd quarter grades, he should probably submit them. Maybe he should contact admissions and ask them what he can do to “prove” himself to Loyola.
