How to get into Stanford University

The only college that I'm looking forward is Stanford University. But I don't know how get into it. It is a hard school and is very competitive to get into. This is my schedule thus far:

9th grade (Currently)-

AVID (College prep class)
Orchestra
Physics
Honors English
Health/Bodywise. (Bodywise is P.E class)
and Intergrated 3. (Jr. math)

10th grade-

AP World History
AP Psychology
Honors English (Zero Period)
Honors Biology
Honors Chemistry
Spanish 3+4 *I will be taking Spanish 1+2 over the summer as a online credit
and Precal.

11th grade-

AP Biology
Human Anatomy and Phys.
AP U.S History
AP Calculus AB
AP English
Spanish 5+6

12th grade-

AP Chemistry
AP Government and Politics
AP Calculus BC
AP Spanish (Spanish 7+8)
AP Environmental Science
AP English. (I believe it is AP Lite and Comp..?)

I am not really worried about my academics. I should take caution about what I'm taking, but I want to emphasis on my extra-activities. I am not taking any sports this year but I am doing Tennis and Track for the follow years. I will be starting my own club which will show leadership. I am doing Key Club and Knowledge Bowl and will be in Science club next year. I am volunteering now and I have 130+ hours. I am not sure if not doing a sport this year will affect my chances of making me look "overall".

I am a freshmen male asian for the class of 2015.

I am quitting Orchestra to focus more on academics more then music. I also know that SATs and ACTs are important. (Aiming to get at least a 2200)

What are some key things Stanford looks for? Am I on the right track getting to Stanford? Do I have a chance?

Thank you for your time and effort.

Be careful about taking a huge number of APs. Unless you can still maintain a high unweighted GPA and participate in extracurriculars with such a heavy course load, think about taking some honours classes instead, especially when you’ve already taken several APs in a certain subject. Also be cautious about quitting orchestra, considering that you’re asian, and many colleges are beginning to not accept asians with perfect grades and few extracurriculars. Doing music as well as sports and your other activities shows that you’re very well-rounded, which many colleges look for. Since you didn’t include your GPA, I’ll just assume your grades are good. Overall, I think you have a decent chance.
