How to improve my ACT score

Ok well the first ACT I took was in April and I only studied for about a week and got a 27. I was happy with the score but decided to take it again when June comes around, hoping to go up anywhere from 1-3 points. I studied from April-June and ended up with a 26. My goal for the September ACT is at least a 28 and I have a little less than 2 months to prepare. What is a good schedule to prepare myself with from now until September, and what books could I use other than the red book (because I am almost done with it). September is my last chance to take the ACT so I hope to succeed on this test.

My scoring breakdowns are:

April Composite 27
English: 25
Math: 26
Reading: 30
Science: 26
Writing: 8

June Composite 26
English: 23
Math: 26
Reading: 30
Science: 24
Writing: 9

Once again any schedules to follow to study, strategies, tips, and any recommended books or other resources to study would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
