So from frosh-junior year I took art 1-3 because I was thinkin about going to art school. This damaged my GPA because A+ UW is 4.3 while A- weighted is 4.7 so all the kids who are like "woohooo, go math!" have higher GPAs and therefore ranks, meanwhile I know just as much as them and have more breadth as well as depth of knowledge.

How do I let admissions know that I did art because I really enjoy it and not cuz it was easy(which is funny cuz less people get A+s and As than any AP classes. Hell, someone got a C on a project that was his replica of 2 rectangles)?

I'm probably going to send in an optional portfolio of 10 pieces to princeton cuz they said they accept that. Do other schools as well accept that? And what else can I do?

Most colleges at the same level as Princeton accept supplementary materials like this, so you should definitely send them in. Perhaps you can write about it in one of the essays or extra curricular paragraph thing? (that is, unless you feel you already have a better topic to write on)

Ehhhh, I think I’ll probably write about athletics because they are way more important to me. So I hope they’ll still get that I’m a boss at art as well.
Oh btw, I’m applying to Harvard, Princeton, Duke, W&W, Chicago, Penn, Georgetown, Cornell; do they all accept artistic supplements? (I know I looked up duke’s and forget what it was, something like they required 18 pieces or something that was a lot of work and/or it was only for people studying it in college)

And does anyone knwo the link to princeton’s visual arts supplement form? Theyre all dead or whatever, but i found one from like 2008 lol.

So does anyone know where Princeton’s new arts supplement form is?
