How to prepare for MATH 340( linear algebra, calc 3, and diffy eq)?

I heard this class if very challenging and those with prior learning of any of the 3 component subjects are at a great advantage. I just want to know what is the best way to prepare that is cost efficient. Right now I’m thinking about going onto khan academy to review those subjects over the summer. If anyone else has any good study resources I would really appreciate it if you could share it.

My freshman daughter is taking this class too. Thanks for that resource maryversity.

FYI, an unrelated resource that is helpful for freshmen to know about is the writing center. Apparently, having them critque your paper before turning it in to your professor can raise your grade by half a letter for some classes (so, in other words, an A- becomes an A). Not sure exactly how it works and for what classes, but hey, there it is…worth investigating and asking if professors offer that incentive for their class. You do have to schedule an appointment though. http://www.english.umd.edu/academics/writingcenter/undergraduate/faqs
