How to prepare for SAT in 4 months???

Well.. I am going to take the SAT on January..
But I don't know what to do.

So.. I was thinking about doing this... Haha funny cus I said I don't know what to do but...

Everyday I was thinking about doing

1.Read and study Gruber's Mathwork book. (one section a day)

2.Try to do some Reading Comprehension problems on outdated SAT books or Baron's reading work book left by my brother. About a hour?

Try to memorize 35 SAT words a day.

But on Saturday and Sunday.
I would time myself and do a practice exam.

How was that sound?? Please be honest please.. I want to try to pass 2000+ range on my first try..

It sounds like a pretty good plan but don’t stress yourself too much at the beginning. Start off easy and I don’t think it’s necessary to memorize 35 SAT words a day. Maybe 10 a day and then on the last day of the week make sure you know all 60 words. 35 is just a lot and you probably have other school work and stuff to do too. I honestly never tried to memorize SAT words and somehow I got a 750 on my CR section with no errors on sentence completion. I studied a bit of latin so that might have helped!

Yea. You are right.

Hey do you know how i can practice my Writing?

read sophisicated things like professional essay or novels… i think it helped me how to write somewhat more “mature”.

for grammar, look over a SAT book. its probably the best way to learn the grammar rules and common errors

Why are you going to take your SAT in january? Colleges do not accept january SAT scores, do they?

Hey to be honest I didn’t try to memorize SAT words at all. I think what really helped me was taking practice tests. I did 3 tests a week to prep, I would go to the library, check out all the SAT books and do any test that I can get my hands on. It bumped my score 450 points from my first time taking it!

If january is not good? Do u recommend other month?
