Red Bull doesn't work for me. It only gives me a stomachache.
I'll try the "caffeine tablets". Apparently, they are very very strong and keep you focused for many hours.
My biggest problem with big exams is that i have to go to the bathroom really often when im nervous. What can i do about this? should i wear a diaper on the test day? .... im serious..

um, no. is it really that much of an issue for you? im pretty lucky, i virtually never have to go to the bathroom unless i am at home. in my four years of high school, ive used the school bathroom only about twice. there are a lot of breaks during the test, i think two one minute breaks, and one five minute break. will you really have to use the bathroom more than three times in 5-ish hours? if you do have to go, try to go during the section that you usually have leftover time on, for me, that would be the writing section. and dont drink in the morning before the test, and use the bathroom before you leave for the testing center.

Red Bull, Caffeine tablets, or other stimulants may work in keeping you awake, but they won't guarantee that you perform at peak efficiency. Instead you may want to try the safe and old fashioned "get a good night's sleep" approach. Another old fashioned technique during the breaks would be to wash your face and stretch your back and neck. If I sound like your mother it could be because I am :-)

the guy who said dont check out the hot girls.........GENIUS
seriously...you're going to be seeing new people there, and yes they're gonna be stunning if you dont like what you see at your school, BUT KNOW THAT YOU'RE HERE FOR A REASON. Try writing something that motivates you on the top of the long CR passages...for instance, I once wrote the name of the girl that I liked, but that didn't help, cause I kept thinking about how hot she was....so think harder

"If I sound like your mother it could be because I am :-)"

LOL!

Wondering how everyone did, were you guys able to stay focused? :D

I sat next to a hot girl on Saturday's exam; it made sitting there for 5 hours a lot easier...

i was excited for the test. The only problem is, my first math section (experimental) was way hard, which sort of lessened my excitement and made me wonder how i did throughout the whole test. But otherwise, that test was pretty exciting. THe passages were interesting as well

yeah, i stayed focused. it was fine. i also liked the passages.

I had 2 caffeine tablets, which equal to about 16 cups of coffee that morning. It didn't seem to help me very much though. Having 4 CR sections totally killed my concentration. :(

If you have trouble with CR, here is my best advice. If it is long and boring (which it usually is), break it down. read 2 paragraphs, then answer. It really helps keep you focused. If you read through that massive boring passage, you'll just waste ur time going back looking for the answers cause you wont remember anything
