<p>Just trying to find out what would be the best way to update my application. I have been selected as an Intel Semifinalist and I would like the colleges to know. So should I contact them personally and send them a letter with my certificate OR should I have my research teacher (who also wrote my rec) contact the schools and send a copy of my certificate? What would be the best course of action for updating my app? </p>

<p>You write a letter on your word processor in business letter format, and then you sign it. Pretty simple.</p>
