I'm currently a 2nd year pure math major but I'm not feeling good about my job prospects right after college. Would a math-applied science major be better for getting jobs right out of college? Say I do management science or econ as my applied science. Would this be better than doing just pure math? And is there a difference between doing math-applied science with econ and doing the math-econ joint major, besides a very slight difference in classes?

good question. I am an accepted transfer student (majoring in math/applied sciences) wondering the same thing, minus the econ part.
