I.E will company x who hires me for corporate finance give me higher pay?

For FINANCE jobs (not auditing/accting) Will it help me out?

Good question I want to know the answer too >_> if there is one

Honestly double majoring in accounting and finance don’t really go together in my opinion. If you want to double major in business related subjects that also serve to benefit each other try accounting and IT or accounting and computer science. Even accounting and criminology ( if there is some forensic courses) would be a decent double major.

It would possibly give you more options but an employer will not pay you any more than someone with an accounting or finance degree.

My friend is double majoring in fin and accy because he wants to go into transaction services, which does pay more. [Services: Transaction services](http://www.pwc.com/extweb/pwcpublications.nsf/docid/2a45b90a05db32228025719b0026946b)

I think it’s a good combo. Acting will give you a more detailed understanding of many aspects of finance and more job options upon graduation. No extra pay though.
