<p>I know that most colleges don't mind a bit of profanity in audition monologues (and the ones that do will specify), but is there some sort of protocol for what is and isn't appropriate? I fell in love with Tracy's monologue in "And the Winner Is", but it's got quite a few swears in it.. In fact the first line is "Listen up you little star****ers"...so I'm a little concerned about it. But I connect with it and feel I can deliver it well, I just don't want to offend the auditors. Any thoughts?</p>
<p>Personally I would stay away from it. Why give them a reason to be turned off by you? There are so many other wonderful options out there.</p>
