How was your first day?

Most of you guys have been in school since August, and some people like me had their first day this week. So how was it?

Everything was great, besides the freshmen. Every year they get smaller and annoying. And I have an awesome schedule, so I get to be with all my friends in my last year.

BAD. I have a crappy Schedule… Almost all my classes have been changed/didn’t get switched to the good ones.

My first day was alright. I have a boring English teacher, but whatever. All of my other teachers are alright.

Too much homework.

Get syllabus signed by parent/get multiple extra notebooks/get paper bag book covers.

Bleh.

I don’t start until Monday! :)

Easy. my IB Math HL class is so small, but we’re gonna be an awesome class. All IB Math HL classes are collaborative.

You were like that not too long ago, lay off. Later, you’ll see high school seniors as young and annoying.

To the question: It went well, on August 23rd.

I thought this.

I thought this too. But no, they really are getting smaller and annoying! They are TINY! I remember how tall my friends were compared to me. A couple weeks ago, I stumbled upon the part of the wall where my mom used to mark my height. I was not that short back then and neither were my friends.

anyway, the new freshmen are way shorter. Some of them look a lot sluttier, but eh, I’m sure there were some slutty freshmen in my class back when I was a freshman as well.

Senior year - Class of 2011

Spanish 5 - Spanish teacher is a complete gringa, which irritates me for some reason.
Econ - The class is a joke, literally. I expect an easy A.
Mythology - Seems really difficult because our teacher is hardcore.
AP Calc BC - Probably difficult, but I have a good teacher.
P.E. - Worst class ever with sophomores. It’s a joke.
AP Physics - I think that it will be a good class. It looks interesting.

Classical, Indo-European, World? Sounds very cool.

I’ll letcha know in five days.

Honors Geometry-So awesome, homework counts for a lot and we go over the answers beforehand.
We The People-This class is fun. We just talk about government a lot.
Honors Science-Easy A, but the material can get tricky and the teacher has high expectations. Luckily, the homework and the multiple choice portion of the test don’t reflect his high expectations. And the skills tests are like 10% of your final grade.
GTT-Easy, everything is based off of completion so you just say “I did it” and you get full points.
Spanish 1-B: Super easy, everything’s completion. The tests are annoying but we do so much review it’s really easy.
Social Studies: No tests in this class, but the homework is all essay/complete sentences.
Honors Language: Easier than I thought, the teacher grades really easily on essays.

Awful. I wasn’t put in the homeroom I wanted, I have APUSH way too early in the morning for my liking, I have last lunch which also happens to be dominated by idiot freshmen, none of my teachers can figure out how to say my name, my study hall is supposed to be a ‘silent’ one, and I don’t think my schedule’s impressive enough. Oh, and by the way, don’t pick on freshmen just because they’re getting “smaller.” I’m a junior and under 4’9". :(

Mine was today, and it was ok. My teachers are cool which is great after being stuck with some of the most miserable teachers in my soph and junior years. My day was dampened however because I only got 3 hrs of sleep the night before because I was up until 3am doing AP summer homeowrk. Procrastination FTW! I’ve been struggling to stay awake all day.
