<p>Hello, i singed up for a testmasters SAT prep course and the first class starts this Saturday, i wonder to know what to expect. I heard alot of differnt rumors about SAT classes some say it was just a big party and no one paid attnetion while some said it really boost up their score. So how was your SAT class experiance? Any particular memories? Or tips you want to give me?</p>

<p>I've never taken testmasters, but I did take a course offered by a local Brown student. His thing was private and it really boosted my score. Plus, he kept in touch with me months after to make sure I was progressing.</p>
<p>I think that usually only happens in certain circumstances...the fact that my so-called course was private helped. I know people who have taken PR and said it didn't help them much at all. So really, it all just depends on the instructor, and how much prep you need. I mean, if right now you're struggling to understand the basic SAT concepts, then pretty much any prep course would help. But if you're already scoring 1900-2000, there's no point in taking one, imo.</p>
<p>I took Princeton Review's prep course. My instructor was one of the best teachers I've ever had.</p>

<p>I did PR, it helped raise my scores quite a bit in math and reading.
Writing it didn't help much</p>
