<p>I'm Hispanic and I have joined several Hispanic clubs at school and etc.</p>
<p>However, no one in my family speaks Spanish, therefore, the only knowledge I have of Spanish is from the 3 years of Spanish I took in high school and a few college courses. I plan on taking the SAT II Spanish subject test, however since I claim to be Hispanic, will my scores be looked at differently from colleges even though I am clearly not a native speaker?</p>
<p>if you are from a specific culture that speaks the language, and you take the SAT ii subject test of this subject, colleges expect you to receive the 800. Anything lower will actually be counterproductive to you.</p>
<p>^ Actually, I don’t think an 800 is required… it would be something like a 750+ though. Perhaps you could attach a short note explaining this in the “Additional Information” section of your app.</p>
