How would an English proffessor do on the MCAT

The reading and writing portion

I can’t tell you how an English professor would do, but I’m an appellate lawyer (I’ve written legal briefs for a living for the past 30 years) and I scored an 11 on the verbal part of the “sample” MCAT on the AAMC website when I took it out of curiosity (with no preparation.) They don’t grade the written part for the free on-line sample test.

I found the verbal part to be tricky and difficult, even for a person who reads and writes analytical documents as a profession.
