How would College Admissions look at this?

<p>So I got an F in Chem for sem 2 (This class was taken as an elective class due to me having 3 science credits from 9th and 10th grade. My Science grades were always Cs and Ds. All other grades are consistent As and Bs. I have an ACT score of 27 and SAT of 1830. GPA will still go up (current 3.08).My Hook is URM male.</p>

<p>How would they judge me as an OOS URM male. (First Choice is NC State, Safety is Ohio U)</p>

<p>At risk of being obvious, colleges don’t like Fs. What was your year end grade for Chem?</p>
