How would I go from a liberal arts degree to a finance masters?

Hey everyone,

I am currently studying BSc Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
I am interested in pursuing a finance masters afterwards. However, most masters in finance require significant math studies during their undergraduate degree.
Should I study math outside of my degree (such as studying for a diploma or equivalent), or are there schools in the US or abroad that are more lenient? From my research, certain schools do not require applicants to have a major math background. However, it would probably be better for me to study some courses, right?

Thank you!

Look at the programs you are interested in and see what their pre-requisites are.

Agree that you will need to look at programs that interest you.

Long ago, I made a similar move and only needed to take calculus as a math pre-req. My grad school allowed students to take micro and macro econ before being accepted in to the School of Business/MBA program. I took those two courses while I studied for the GMAT. Your econ classes may count for your MBA, depending on the school.
