I have also applied but i haven’t recieved feedback as yet. I’m still not sure if i want to go there…some stuff about the dorms worries me. Does anyone know what the bathroooms in the quad are like? Are they communal? As in the entire floor shares one or is it like two room share one?

I got in touch with Ms Minor when they said my application was incomplete. Her number is 202 806 2711, and she also told me at the time that they were in the process of matching students with their transcripts so that could be the reason why they are still saying your application is incomplete. Congratulations to all the future Bisons (hopefully) you guys will attend I know I am

Im a current senior and I applied to Howard University EA. I got a letter in the mail saying that I needed to send more information about myself, before they make a final decision by April, so I sent a letter of rec. Two weeks ago I got an email from the admissions office saying that if I am willing to change my declared major from Broadcasting/TV/Film to Journalism, I can be accepted into Howard. So I emailed him back, saying that I am willing to change my major. But I haven’t heard anything back from him… SO ANXIOUS!!! I want to call BUT the school is closed due to the bad weather conditons! And I have never really thought about doing journalism… but hopefully it is possible to change my major once I get there, or if I get there. lol

I have essay reay to submit online, but I am utterly confused. I called Howard a few times, but everyone offers varying answers. I typed up my essay and when I copied and pasted it, all the formatting, such as the double-spacing and indenting was gone. I tried to manually double space and indent, but it looks strange. Has anyone submitted their essay online. Does anyone have any suggestions? Like should I still double and indent.

Never mind. The problem was solved. I hope I get accepted =]. Congratulations to everyone who was accepted!!!

hey i have a question. I have a 2.3 gpa but still hav a half of semester of my jr. year left. I also have shown steadily improvement in my grades and i got a 22 on the act but plan to take it again in april. What are my chances of gettin in howard?

So I see that a lot of people begin receiving their Howard University admissions packages in Dec. I have yet too receive mine & the website indicated that today was open house for acceptance students. So does this mean I wasn’t accepted?? In addition to that I’m a transfer student and I was told that first year college students are notified first…

Please someone feel me in if you received an acceptance letter this late in the game :-(

Purple Honey…
You should have already received your admission package if you were accepted. If you did your application online you should already have an automatic answer either congrats… you are accepted or you are not. I would suggest that you give undergraduate admissions to see whats your status on your application. I went to Howard on the 25~29th not for the open house but to tour the school on my own without anyone trying to glam it up. On the Howard website it says that you can call for a tour, so its not too late.
My own personal opinion is that DC has a lot to offer, and although Howard is not a beautified looking school you have to think about its history.

y’all should tell me what makes howard special

I have the same problem but I believe that their system is down for us to check our status
