<p>Professor Coiner who teaches the Intro to Economics class at Brandeis is really awesome - really funny and also a really good teacher. I am not an Econ major at all and I really enjoyed it. And it fulfills the quantitative reasoning requirement for any other social sciences/humanities people out there, and the math is not that scary ;-)</p>
<p>I really like the Economics department. I think Economics is one of the most popular majors at Brandeis.</p>
<p>Like catperson said, Coiner is awesome. People love him, he's a great professor and really makes you interested in the subject and makes it easy for you to do well. I've liked both Econ classes I've taken. The other professors I've encountered seem very nice. </p>
