Hello everyone. I’ve been accepted into Pepperdine, and, should I attend, will major in Film Studies. I have also, however, been accepted to Loyola Marymount, a school that has a ranked film program. Although I have heard that Pepperdine’s major is focused on both theory and production, I’m still not sure what that entails. Does anyone here have insight into what the major is like and how it compares to “real film schools”? Please note, I want to become a director, and I place high importance on a holistic understanding of filmmaking.
Thanks a lot, guys.
