I’ve heard that the dining hall food isn’t that great, but wanted to get current students’ opinions. Also, wondering if there are other options on campus for meals, like Chick-Fil-A or Subway.
My daughter also says it’s not that great. But she loves everything else! Here is a recent article from The Flat Hat that discusses the meal plans:

Food in the dining halls is not great. But it is plentiful. There are other options too. ChickFilA, Cosi, Qdoba, and Dominos are among the places that also take dining dollars. https://www.wm.edu/offices/auxiliary/dining/
IMO, it’s regular dining hall food with healthy options available. Personally, as long as the food is decent, I’d rather see money spent on: professors, academic scholarships, wellness center, dorms, rec center, career center.
We ate there as visitors and thought it was pretty good. And especially good for allergies.
