HS Junior year classes

Hi, I’m an international student and I did IGCSEs for grades 9&10. I went to a british school and IGCSE is a british qualification exam. My family has to move a lot so I’ve been changing schools a lot of times during ms and hs. I’m not sure how my GPA will be calculated or how to compare the subjects I took to ‘normal’ freshmen & sophomore classes.

These are the subjects I did for IGCSE and in parentheses are the classes that I think are roughly equivalent. All these courses are 2 year long.
IG english (english 9, english 10)
IG math (geometry, Alg II)
IG Physics (Physics honors)
IG Chem (Chem honors)
IG Design & technology (elective/art)
IG ICT
IG Economics
IG additional maths (pre cal) *I took this class for 1/2 a semester and dropped so it doesn’t really count
PE
Music

These are the classes I’m planning to take this fall of junior year:
English 11
Pre Cal
AP Psychology
AP Physics 1
*Biology - with 10th graders :3
*AutoCAD~Interior Design (1 semester each)
Film Studies~Academic writing
PE~Music

My school doesn’t offer foreign languages but I’m learning french outside of school.

*I can drop one of those and add either AP Econ or AP Env.Sci. I’m more into env sci but I took economics already so maybe I’ll find AP Econ easier. I don’t want to take more than 3 AP classes, because I’m going to be in a lot of extra curricular activities and sports. Plus, the schedule has 8 blocks only.

So how does this look?

What will your major be? What schools are you looking at? It depends on that I guess. It looks okay otherwise though

Actually it does - English. Although I’m surprised that the school does not require the language of the country in which you are living.

@skieurope he/she went to a british school.

@skieurope I live in singapore and people speak like 4 languages all over the country so they don’t make it a requirement in HS.
