Hi everyone. I just was wondering if someone could take a look at my stats and ECs and let me know if I’m on the right track for some of the smaller ivies and schools like uchicago or uc berkeley? dream school is dartmouth. I know my grades so far haven’t been impressive but I hope I can bring them up next year. Taking AP Bio, AP Human Geo and AP Latin next year in addition to Accelerated Precalc, Honors Physics and English.
Grades (competitive private school, doesn’t calculate GPA):
freshman semester 1: B+(accelerated geom), B+(world religions), B+(bio), B+(english), A+(latin 2).
freshman semester 2: A-(accelerated geom), A- (world religions), A-(bio), A (english), A(latin 2)
sophomore semester 1: B+(american history), B(honors chem), A-(english), A-(accelerated algebra 2), A (latin 3)
I’m taking the SAT in August but I’ve been scoring around 1420 on practice tests and am hoping to push it to 1500+ over the summer.
ECs:
Girl Scouts: Girl Delegate to the governing board (2 years), earned bronze and silver award, will earn gold award by college apps time
Piano: Performed at Lincoln Center x2, Carnegie Hall x1. Currently certified by ABRSM up to level 5.
Community Service: Elected leader for my grade (2 years, elected for next year as well), Silver Presidential Volunteer Service Award
