<p>I posted on the Parents' thread, but thought it might be fun to start a new thread to get to know each other prior to heading into the audition/application process in the fall:-).</p>

<p>im not in high school...but i wish i still were. you are so lucky to be able to have so much time, and to be starting out prepping for your auditions. over the summer, gather a ton of plays and read thru them so u can find perfect monologues...and listen to all the musical theater music you can to find good audition songs. if you start early, you'll feel so great.

<p>It's really my mom that helped me out getting an early start and who told me about this thread, so I do need to pass the credit for having time to get ready to her, lol. I am from the San Francisco Bay Area, a California girl :-).</p>

<p>I am applying/auditioning and waiting to see where I get it. I did BTP last year and loved it, but would not mind trying out a different program. How about you?</p>
