hey im not sitting the HSC but am in australia. so i have the same issue.

I get my UAI on the 17th of december. i think NSW works the same.

Deadline is 1 of jan, so send them off on the day. If not get your studies coordinator to indicate that on your secondary school report. (thats what i did as i applied ED).

official transcripts--you should have a academic record.
it may be one or two pages and will state every subject and course you have taken, your score and grade. hand that in.

they should have someone that understands... if someone from your state/school has applied there before...
i'm sending my semester reports, because thats all I have for official transcripts... but should I get them signed by a JP? or just by my careers advisor?

My careers advisor indicated for the common application that my final grades weren't available... should I just get her to write a note to go with my offical transcripts... or she's making me mail them, so I'll just write a brief not and attach it saying that final grades will be available late december (application deadline is dec 1)

i had my year advisor stamp every page of my transcript with the school logo. She also wrote a letter verifying the copies were real and had the principle sign it. I havent checkd to see if the uni's im applying for have received them or not. Im applyng to university of maryland, and those retards never reply to my emails. >< . I did my HSC last year, so i also sent a copy of a brochure explaining what UAI is and how its calculated.

I just got my reports signed by a JP saying they were certified copies and then got every page stamped with my school stamp from my careers advisor... and then HSC results I'll just get certified copies and try to get it stamped from the school

Sorry if this sounds silly, but where do the JP sign your documemnt? And how do you indicate that it is a JP's signature? And do they sign on every single photocopied page?

one of the JPs signed in at the bottom and one signed it on the side... depends on the JP I guess... and they indicate that their a JP on the thing... its like "this is a true, certified copy... blah blah blah signature, name... Justice of the Peace" at least I think thats what is said... their writing was really messy
