I have good stats (2220 SAT, 97 GPA) & can show great fit with the Policy Analysis & Management major at the CHE. However, the Human Ecology website states that "students are expected to pursue challenging math and science courses, again, at the highest level for which they are prepared, throughout their high school career, regardless of the major to which a student applies." I've done VERY well in school & have gotten 5s on 3 APs, but I haven't taken regular Calculus or any AP science/math courses (unless you count AP Psych.) Could I tell CHE admissions that I'd be willing to take math/science classes over the summer? Or will my essays, ECs, recs (all stellar) overshadow that hole in my application?

My other options would be ILR (hate the curriculum), CAS Government or Sociology (too expensive and competitive), or CALS Development Sociology (not sure whether this or CHE PAM is more selective as far as undergraduate admissions goes... also not sure which major better prepares its students for social policy/nonprofit work...)

Thanks in advance for any and all insight!
