So...um..hi.
I'm new at CC although I have lurking around here for sometime :P
Anyways, I just finished freshman year in high school and decided it is time to seriously start searching about colleges. I always knew that I wanted to major in Business/Finance. (Always leaned more on the Finance side because Im more mathematically inclined, but I'm still plenty interested business) Anyways for the last week I've been researching the Huntsman program at Upenn and fell in love with it. I'm pretty passionate about languages (I think that the concept of languages and languages itself are beautiful) I'm bilingual in English and Hindi (Hindi is my parents native language). I'm taking Chinese 2 and I am pretty good at it. This summer my friends and I are undertaking a project to self teach ourselves Elvish ( 'Cause we are nerdy like that and we love lotr)
I joined our schools Model Congress/Model UN team and our FBLA team but there are so many upperclassmen that hog the entire team :( I have to wait for them to graduate next year. I just feel kinda bad because I'm not some business prodigy that opened their own business at the age of 10
Anyways, is my passion for languages and International affairs enough for Huntsman? What other sort of initiative do I have to show? Any other advice for the rest of high school.
Thanks guys
