Let my start off by saying I don’t plan on doing this (I barely have any EC’s anyway) but that I was just curious.
If audits are in January, couldn’t a lazy student just quit all EC’s (that they did for College apps) in February?
Probably (unless you plan to appeal anywhere, or get a job in college). You wouldn’t be continuing the activities in less than five months anyway. But what’s the point - why sacrifice the fun part of high school at the very end? I’d guess that lazy students are more likely to slack off on their academics than their extracurriculars.
