I know it's kinda not related to this forum.. but i didn't know where to put it.

So my original plan was going into chemical engineering as my major and apply to some strong chemE schools such as Berkeley, MIT, Northwestern, etc.

However, I've been thinking and I realized that I really love mentoring/tutoring people more than anything else. I will be a founder of Mentoring club next year, and i have a couple of ECs and volunteer hours from tutoring. I'm also a pretty expereince paid AND unpaid tutor. (I'm going into senior year soon)

I actually do want a stable job/career so that's why I wanted to major in Chemical engineering (i really love chemistry/physics as well), but I feel like my true passion is teaching and helping out others.

What are some stable jobs and career path I should take in my case? Our family is really low income so I'm worried about not getting enough salary later on.
Any suggestions for the colleges for the major is welcome as well :) thank you.
