I am curious. Pick one: Stanford, Princeton, MIT

^I know. Iamtbh is total fail. At least german_car had some data, however misused it was.

Isn’t it sad when you fail at ■■■■■■■■? It’s so easy…I almost feel bad for him/her/it!

Stanford!!!

Who’s “■■■■■■■■” whom?

Baelor and JohnAdams,

I know you guys want to ■■■■■ Princeton although i have no idea what you’re affiliation is.

just to let you guys know, that’s not the best to force people to become paper tigers

tuangpi, I see from reading your posts that you applied and failed to get accepted at Yale and Princeton

Still, there is no reason to attack students and alumni of Princeton.

I don’t know what your first choice was, but MIT is a wonderful institution - not Princeton or Yale, but still wonderful

good luck in your 4 years at MIT and then Med school…

what makes you think that?

and I am not attacking any Princeton students or alumni. in fact, I respect them. Princeton is one of the best universities in the nation after a few schools. but I’m thinking of taking that respect i have away as I am quite confused by the post of CCers representing Princeton lately.

in addition, I don’t think it would be wise for the OP to make his decision based on the posts on CC.

To the OP : go to the admitted students weekends, for instance CPW for MIT or Bulldogs Day for Yale. Make sure you know what you want out of your college experience. Then, decided. because honestly, the school protecting the yield rate or not and those issues will never have an impact on your undergraduate education and college life once you enroll in your selected school.

Thanks JA12! those four years will be the best years of my life.

tuangpi, well good for you!

I see that you got into MIT through Questbridge straight out of Orlando, when Junior year in high school you were worried stiff about getting into Univ. of Florida…great accomplishment getting into MIT through Questbridge. Its a good thing that you used those ACT scores instead of your SAT scores eh?

Isn’t the U.S. wonderful?

@ JohnAdams12

dude, don’t judge me man

you don’t know what i’ve been through to get this far in my education

This makes me feel better about hitting the “accept” button for MIT before those decisions came out.

Thanks Princeton for the invitation. but no thanks.

tuangpi, it appears by your posted messages that you were a struggling high school student that was praying to get into Univ. of Florida when you were a Junior. Although you have received mostly “A’s” from your Orlando school, your SAT’s were terrible and needed to show only your ACT’s and needed to use Questbridge to get into MIT, for you were rejected at Princeton, Yale, Harvard and Dartmouth…

so when you start mouthing off to accomplished people that have Princeton degrees with advanced degrees from top 2 schools in addition to Princeton students, you forget that part of your history is shown in the paper trail of your posted messages…

I hope you do well at MIT, it is challenging and wonderful.

I had the choice between MIT and Princeton as a Chemial Engineer and chose Princeton and am very happy for it, but would also have been happy at MIT - a truly great institution…In fact one of my roomates at Stanford Business School was an engineer from MIT (he did very well and loved it).

And that’s definitely why I am choosing to go to MIT. No one at MIT will care if I used QuestBridge or not. No one at MIT will mind that MIT along with HYPS was a reach school for me. No one at MIT will give a **** whether I used my SAT or ACT scores.

But at Princeton, apparently some people will.

and you don’t know my SAT and ACT scores I got at the January and December testing.

tuangpi, so next time just stop with your attacks on schools that you failed to get accepted from and stop with your attacks on the alumi and students of those schools.

well, we’ll see now that the playing field is even and I get the opportunity to go beyond my potentials at MIT

I got into Princeton and Dartmouth. waitlisted at Yale and Harvard. if this makes you happy.

I wonder where you get all your free time to post 13.41 posts per day. are you currently unemployed?

i never attacked anyone.

is that why you got a new screen name?

tuangpi, you have attacked me specifically

do you really think that people can’t go back and read your posted messages?

so now because one posts a few times a day you are calling them unemployed?

is this what you are saying?

and you dare say that you are not attacking them?

how many freshman at MIT this coming year do you think are going to be from Orlando with less than 2 years in the U.S.?

your statements are illogical

prove that I attacked you

the unemployed thing is about you posting over 13 posts a day since the decisions came out. I mean, you said you got a degree from Princeton and MBA from Stanford. you must a pretty busy dude. I just don’t know how you got those free time.

MIT is a diverse community. There will be people from all sorts of background. FYI, only 13 people got admitted from Central Florida (which of course is geographically bigger than Orlando).

sure, I’m well aware of that. and that’s why you got a new screen name.

and if you truly say you got Chem Eng from Princeton and MBA from Stanford

could you explain this thread you started a day after you made this account?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/colgate-university/869209-colgate-vs-hamilton-vs-lehigh.html</a></p>

I can’t figure out why you would care about choosing between Colgate, Hamilton and Lehigh. mind explaining?

and why would you care about the Williams College ED deferred RD acceptance rate?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/williams-college/885781-williams-ed-deferred-applicants.html</a></p>

why would you be inquiring about the Golden Bobcat Scholarship from UC-Merced?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-merced/880415-golden-bobcat-scholarships.html</a></p>

tuangpi, I see that you are again thinking like a high school student…

I am looking at other colleges for my younger relatives

do you really think that it is only the high school students that post on these threads…?

on the “only a few students from Orlando at MIT” thingy…think it over a little and realize what the importance of this knowledge is when you have been attacking someone anonymously…

on the posting on this thread on average about a dozen times during the last month or two, it is a luxury of being a successful investment banker …something that you will rarely realize in the next few decades of your life

I’m saying “only 13” because i know some schools such as TJHSST have over 10 admits.

I see. is it because your “younger relatives” are too busy with their EC’s and school work? that’s good because they’re going to need those if they want to attend at least their "older relatives’ " alma mater.

tuangpi, you appear to be way over you head here…

it may be best to scat over to your MIT thread and enjoy your posting there…

I will have someone give you a call at MIT once fall school season starts…

you did not answer my questions
