It's not phallic, it's fantastic. Okay, it's also phallic.

That sounds…

… disgusting actually.

You cannot turn on the greatness that is the chocolate-covered banana. The mixture of the two tastes and textures form to create a delicious and delectable dessert.

yay for K !

I never understood the appeal of chocolate-dipped fruit. Don’t you lose that fresh garden taste when you coat it in chocolate? The flavors are too conflicting for me.

its a juicy contradiction

I consumed a couple of apple slices dipped in chocolate today.

I’m not too fond of bananas though.

It’s savory and sweet synergy.

^^But…but…but…bananas…have POTASSIUM!

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat a banana in the States again. They’re just too damn good here.

Plus, I’m allergic to chocolate so I’ve never understood the appeal of it…

^Well, you are allergic, so that is understandable.

I love chocolate. Love it.

And I am jealous…what else is better there food-wise (Costa Rica, right?)?

Banananananananannanananana!

I love bananas and chocalate, but not together.

^^ All the fruit. Period. It’s ridiculously better.
And gallo pinto isn’t bad (beans and rice, with some other stuff thrown in) but it’s growing on me.
The pop here is better too because it’s made with real sugar as opposed to corn syrup.
Oh, and the beer is a lot better here (and cheaper too). They have sweet (literally, it’s made from sugar cane) liquor here too but I don’t drink.

Hmm… I think that’s about it that I can think of so far.

Yeah, I would imagine that about the fruit. And I love fruit, so I will have to journey there if just for that (except that there is 21310928 other reasons to go, I’m sure).

High fructose corn syrup does put a damper on soda. I don’t really drink soda too much anymore because I’m attempting to be healthier.

I don’t drink, so I wouldn’t know about that, but that’s cool.

Are you having fun?!?!?!

You should definitely come. It’s dirt cheap, extremely friendly, a beautiful place, etc.

PS: The pop bottles are also really cool. They’re always either glass or really tall and skinny. And Pringles are called Pringooools.

I am having a blast right now. I’m actually headed to Manuel Antonio in the morning which is supposed to be gorgeous.

I eat fruit every day: breakfast 1, breakfast 2, lunch, and dinner. It’s good, but every once and a while I just need American food. Good, unhealthy crap lol.

That sounds awesome. :)

I’m eating Oreos… with orange juice unfortunately because I accidently put the milk in the cabinet this morning, instead of the refrigerator. LOL

^Smart ahaha.

This **** is bananas.

^My friend still spells the word “banana” by singing that song.

And the scarier thing is, she still spells it wrong sometimes.

I’m so worried for her…
