I am going to appeal

<p>I just think it’s stupid why people say that. Maybe the same could be said about a particular school in the Bay Area with regards to Berkeley. The truth is that a lot of people transfer to their local university for convenience like in your case. People from outside of SoCal hear about the high transfer rate to UCLA and decide to move under false pretense that SMC has some sort of exclusive agreement with UCLA.</p>

<p>Of course SMC has a high transfer rate. LA has a large population. Locals want to stay local and outsiders moved just so they have a “better” chance of transferring. Also, SMC is probably a much better school than most of the other local CCs like East Los Angeles College or LA Trade Tech.</p>
