I am in Transfer app crisis !!!

Wanted to personalize my why to transfer essay so i made three account one for each college.... Got this email this moring" One of our members has alerted us that you have created three transfer applicant accounts. As our registration instructions state, each user may have only one transfer account. We impose this restriction for two reasons: to prevent students from applying to more than 20 colleges using the site and, more importantly, to prevent confusion among the colleges to which students apply.

Normally, when we discover a situation like this, we give the student 24 hours to let us know which account the student would like us to close. Your situation is more complex. By creating three accounts and then submitting applications and supplements in each, you have created significant confusion for colleges and school officials. To address this issue, we are taking the following steps:

We will close Accounts 1 and 2 listed below, effective immediately. We have chosen to close this account because doing do has fewer implications than closing Account 3.

We will contact each college in Accounts 1,2 and 3 to which you have already submitted an application or supplement. Our Support Team will work with these colleges to devise the best strategy for continuing/completing your application. Please follow whatever future instructions you might receive from either the colleges or our Support Team."

What should do already got decisions for the first two colleges just waiting on the last one....What should I DO ? How bad will this hurt me?

I would contact each college and explain the situation. I don’t think it’s too big a crime to create additional versions of the common app. College three is the one you should be most concerned with, since you don’t have a decision there. be sure to be completely clear and honest with each college.

You aren’t permitted to make additional CA ACCOUNTS, what you can do is make different VERSIONS of the CA (with different essays) within the same account. To make alternate versions, you need to first submit the CA to one school. Go to the CA or google for directions on how to make alternate versions.

Call the colleges and explain, that’s all you can do.
