<p>Hya!
Firstly I really want to thank you all for helping confused students like me. If anyone of you is applying, I think you can put "member of college confidential" on the first place of your ECs- seriosly. This is what I call volunteer work.</p>

<p>Now to business ;)
I have some selected colleges, but firstly they are too many and secondly, I guess most of them are "reach", not even "match". If you can suggest which ones i should throw and which ones i should add, I would be most thankful. They just have to offer full (though, I know, very limited) scholarships to international students. And I want to have some chance of getting in!</p>

<p>I am from Bulgaria.
My unweighted GPA: 3.90, top 25% class rank, most classes: AP level
SAT I (a disaster, but what can I do):
maths: 620
reading:690
writing:620
TOEFL:283
Will take 3 SAT IIs in Dec: Maths IIC, World History, Biology</p>

<p>ECs and all:

creation of a project "Information on applying to US universities" for the junior students of the school

Sahaja Yoga
drawing course (4 years)

School President of Communications (created the school website, created and regularly published the school's bulletine)
Oganizer of 2006 graduation play (playwright, one of the directors, one of the actors)
Editor-in-chief of the Jubilee edition of the school newspaper
swimming (3 years), tae-bo (2 years), tennis (12th grade until now)
Outstanding contribution to school life honor
Model International Crime Court Poland (pilot project), Chief Prosecutor of the group, Director's award </p>

<p>One last thing: my greatest field of interest is rhetorics. Is there such a major? If not, which major includes it? And have you heard of a university that is good in it? </p>

<p>Whitman has a rhetoric major and a very strong program in debate/rhetoric. They are definitely interested in increasing the diversity of their applicant pool so are, as far as I know, encouraging to international students and you would appear to be well-qualified...Good luck...</p>

<p>but would you please tell me in which schools I have a chance lower than say.. 30% of admission? brown, chicago and swarthmore are my reaches, but i don't want more "reach" schools.</p>
