How does it correlate to SAT scores? Basically, no prep and I did pretty darn terribly.
Now. The day that I tested was so bad for a lot of personal reasons [medical and environmental]. I went down on everything from 10th grade except for Critical Reading.
Anyhow...any tips to get past the bad scores? Are they really superb predictors?
Thanks. x

Superb predictors? Not really though most people will probably have scores in the same ballpark (+/- 30 or so points). My oldest did about the same in CR and Math, but much worse in Writing - 800 on the PSAT - 690 twice on the SAT. Chances are good though that you'll do slightly better than your sophomore year scores suggest, if you weren't at your best as a junior.

I would say that they are roughly the same, except that as you get closer to 2400 the PSAT curve is much harsher.

I don't think so. I took it twice and got 165 the first time, 189 the second time and got 2260 on SAT without any studying in between. 0.o

yo, the PSAT don't mean anything. I got a 189 on the PSAT and a 2260 on the SAT. SAT the only thing that matters, the PSAT's are only good for getting you used to a SAT type testing environment

my PSAT : 121

my SAT: 2160.

How? I decided to read the questions for a change.
