<p>So thats pretty much it. I know my test scores are mediocre, but I hope my well roundedness will make up for this. I also think my entire application is pretty centered around my love for music so I hope this can provide a hook.

<p>Dear Esm402 : Happy holidays and good luck with your regular decision application. Some thoughts on your application.</p>

<p>Your GPA is fine and top 10% of class rank is fine - about 80% of enrolled BC applicants are from the top decile. (95% are top quartile with 99+% from top half.) Your ACT score at 29 will be a problem as this is below the 30 mark often sought at BC. </p>

<p>Your music background will be extremely exciting if you can get the director of bands to listen to your demo CD. Be sure that you contact the director and his assistants to generate more interest your application. All Eastern appears in your awards, but not All State - the latter might be better viewed than the former, particularly from New York State.</p>

<p>Academic honors are fine and as expected at this level. From a volunteerism perspective, the toy drive is intriguing.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, LIJSL Division One soccer will not attract much interest competitively at BC for Sports, but if you can show a history of commitment, it will.</p>

<p>In closing, you are overstating the admission's officers dream point. Look at some of the EA candidates and stack yourself up against some of the deferred candidates. Competition for a ticket to BC has increased again this year - your Board scores need some more support.</p>
