i dont think FAFSA will help me out any because my parents make too much..

Students have no savings protection and their assets are assessed at 20% per year. If that wasn’t included in your estimate, I think should your parents get an estimated EFC now so you all have a better idea of what you’ll be looking at. <p>You can do this. Your parents might not realize that they need to cosign for any loans. Once they realize you aren’t eligible for much without them they might be willing to do it. If they’re offering you $6K per year then they’re obviously supportive of your college aspirations.</p>
