I feel like I failed my final

I studied a lot for this Calculus 1 final exam I had today, but I just feel like I didnt do good.

I don’t know, I always panic like this. I have a second part on Wednesday, so it’s not done yet. I am getting a 83 in the course, and I really want a B. How can I get over this feeling that I had failed the final? I am technically screwed if I get a C in the course, as this is already my second attempt. The prof. said to study over this review packet and told us the formatting would be the same. I reviewed the packet and textbook and notes in class and past exams to, and I don’t know I really hope I did at least fine.

Look forward, not back. All you can do is prepare for Wednesday so go do it.

If I had a quarter for every test I thought I did poorly on I’d be rich. Good luck!

I get post-test panic too; I have about a 50/50 split between surprised success and bitter disappointment. As was said above, the most you can do is keep working on getting the best score you can on the next part. Good luck!

Well, if you’re lucky (?) you’ll feel like that after every final you’ve aced.

Actually, this semester I’m worried because I DON’T feel like I failed my finals (which I usually feel when I’ve aced them).

You have put yourself in a bind because you can’t predict your performance in either direction. You have a grade or score that is unknown to you now. Worrying about the grade won’t change it. Relax and think a about it something else.

Why are you screwed if you get a C
