I found a mistake in Cracking the ACT 2006 Princeton Review

I found a mistake on practice test 2, problem 16.

Here is the question.

Which of the following functions will have the greatest value if x= -10?

F. f(x)= x^2 - 2x
G. g(x)= x^2 + 2x
H. h(x)= -x^2
J. j(x)= x^3 - x^2
K. k(x)= x^0

The explanation in the back of the book says the answer should be F. F being 120. One more thing it says is that G equals 80, when in reality it is 100, another mistake! H is -100. Now J obviously is going to be 9900, but in the book it says it comes out to be -1000-100, when it should be 1000-100. I'm no math expert but when you square a negative number it is going to positve so you couldn't get -1000 no matter what. I was just like how the f uck did i get that wrong it was so easy! Overall I got 12 wrong, that's pretty good for me. Did anyone thing that test was easy or are my math skills improving?!

Ummm...

Check again.

A negative to the third power becomes negative again.

im an idiot... going to go kill myself...

F = 120
G = 80 (100 + (2*-10))
H = -100
J = -1100
K = 1

g isn't 100
CC24 caught ur mistake on J.

hahaha good job indian kid keep up the desi pride

Jesus Christ. What are you smoking? Canabi?

btw, is that a good book for ACT's?
