Hi
I know how stressful this whole thing is so here's everything that I've wanted to know when I didn't know it.

First of all,

Don't worry if you don't have a blank line. I applied to CIT ME, got in, and still don't have a blank line. Don't have a clue what that theory means.

Secondly, in the 'stuff sent to me' column they have "Decision Notification" dated 17 March. That was a Tuesday. Some people have dates as early as 27 Feb. Don't know what that means either, but just in case.

The decision will appear in the box in 'College choices'...mine said "Accept" in the Decision box.

Also, I'm an international student, so those decisions were also sent out..not just US citizens.

Any other particular question I can help answer, I would be glad.

Same with TS. I never had a blank line yet I got decisions for all my schools. Now, my “Admission Documents Sent” list contains something called “Decision Notification”. For those without blank lines and still waiting, do not stress. No blank lines does not mean auto-reject :]

I never had a blank line (or a “Folder Pulled Committee Read”) either for CFA School of Architecture. Hopefully we can take this myth down so that future years won’t be freaking out about it like I did.

Basically a blank line is when a draft decision for your application has been made (on the documents received from you list, its a date that has a blank space next to it). Its not that important.

I never had a blank line but I did have a folder pulled and was admitted.

I still have a blank line on Feb 24, but in my admissions documents sent it says “decision notification” on Feb 20. They obviously didn’t send out my admissions decision a month ago, so I don’t know exactly what that means. If the CMU admission comittee read these threads they would probably laught theirs rear ends off.

I never had, and still don’t have, a blank line or “decision notification” or anything and got accepted at midnight. I did have a “folder pulled” though in Jan.
