I got accepted into a couple of colleges, which is best for engineering?

I received most of my admission letters, and I've been accepted into exactly what I had expected.
I've been accepted into:

-University of Illinois @ Chicago
-Northern Illinois University
-Iowa State University
-University of Iowa
-Miami University of Ohio
-University of Missouri

All other preferences aside, which university is purely the academically superior one for an undergraduate computer science degree? Also, which university is most well known and has the most internships/recruiter opportunities available?

Iowa State is the one that jumps out at me from that list for engineering/computer science. Even though I work in New Jersey, I’ve worked with a couple of Iowa State CS grads.

Are any of them instate for you? Paying in-state vs. out-of-state tuition could easily trump all else.

I’m a resident of Illinois, however, Iowa State and University of Missouri are not significantly more expensive than the In-State colleges.

Iowa State is pretty much all of the above. They’re a huge engineering school, so a lot of employers are coming on campus and that is a big deal.

For computer science, UI-Chicago is also a great choice.

If I would do it all over again…I would go out of state for college. It’s another experience with different climate and culture. I say Iowa State.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I’ve done more research on Iowa State, and I could definitely see myself attending there.

Iowa State was the one that jumped out at me too. I know about it because it’s a ranked engineering school that has automatic admissions so it could have been a great rolling safety had my D expressed any interest. They guarantee a response in about 7 weeks, so apply in September and you have a college in the bank by October.

Of course, my east coast D had no interest in going to school in Iowa, so it was all moot anyway, LOL. From everything I’ve read about it, it looks pretty decent.
