I too got into Brandeis. I was most pleased to see the big blue envelope. I received the Presidential Scholarship, $20,000 a year.
As for stats:
790V 670M

790 Chem
780 Writing
750 Math 2C

GPA: 3.6/4.0 rank:35/275

16 Science olympiad medals, several other extra curriculars in depth
OK interview
Personal factor to help explain drop in GPA sophomore year

so i get this email saying i owe them the css/financial aid profile, but i wasn't going to apply for fin. aid, so it wasn't an issue. but then they tell me in the letter today that i owe them "senior grades" (? isn't that the midyear?) and a teacher rec. WHAT THE HELL. *ING HELL

Actually Brandeis is letting their Blue Ribbon applicants, a strange sort of Early Action (I think you can read more about it in other threads), know this week.

I'm wicked happy to report that I'm a go, too. (And wicked proud of my New England accent). I love how we all missed the big "Congratulations" on the envelope.

As for Stats, I have high grades and fairly good test scores, but I think they really are looking for rounded kids. Good luck to everyone who hasn't heard yet!

I got my acceptance about a month ago - ED Blue Ribbon - but just a note, my envelope was a regular white envelope, a bit thicker than normal. Any other Blue Ribbon ED's get one similar to mine? Just got me curious as I was so dissappointed at first, and all you guys got a huge "Congratulations!" envelope :)

There is probably a 90% chance that I will be going to 'Deis. I will do MUN, Euler's (it was on the fall open house list, but I haven't seen anything else about it, I will have to ask) and there was something else but I can't remember. :o

edit: Oh, knowledge bowl/trivia bowl it sounds like a lot of fun.

I got my big blue Congratulations! envelope!

Brandeis is the first school that I've heard back from, everything else is April 1st for me, but I feel so much more relieved now knowing that I have the option of going to a really good school!

It still doesn't feel real. My stats aren't as good as some of the other people who got in, so right now I'm amazed that they accepted me.

SAT- 740M 660V
ACT- 29
GPA- 3.7/4.2
My school doesn't rank us...
Good rec's, no interview, and I sent an essay from my Junior year.

Well, congrats to everyone else who got in. Perhaps we'll be seeing each other at the open house in April!
