So before I list everything that I have (so future readers know who they are competing with), I guess I am screwed because my gpa isn't 3.9-4.0. I have a ~3.5 right now and I have 6 more classes I can take before I graduate and I don't know if I can raise it to a 3.9 because they're all hard classes (math, compsci). Differential equations, calculus 3, etc, the whole nine yard.

A friend told me I should've just done the easy route and go liberal art because that's an easy way to get in. An admission officer told me the same, they said "we don't care what major you pick, we just want hard numbers".

I was afraid of this. :/ A 3.5 in Mathematics should mean more than a 3.9 in English. Do society really value math and science majors less?
