This is your problem - people take out their anger in “normal” way, not playfully punching the wall with a pout. You’re seem pretty socially outcasted man.

This is your problem - people take out their anger in “normal” way, not playfully punching the wall with a pout. You’re seem pretty socially outcasted man.

The problem is you think too much and worry about the wrong things. You will go crazy if you continue this. Find some good people you can talk to and express yourself.

What’s your personality like?

I’m sorry you feel this way… maybe keeping a diary would help.
And to the people telling him to chill, it’s not really just those small events that make you upset- it’s just the fact that people can be rude and arrogant and not care about other people’s feelings. Even the smallest things are really hurtful, especially if you don’t have the greatest self esteem to begin with, and especially if a lot of these things happen over the course of one day.
Try not to start viewing everyone negatively because of this and feeling like everyone’s out to get you. Because really, they’re not- it’s just that this one group decided to be bit.chy this one time. This kind of thing has happened to me, too, and it really makes everything so much worse if you start looking at everything negatively. Just try to brush it off and move on. Maybe try to give your friend on formspring the benefit of the doubt- maybe he was just joking around? You can try and talk to him about it. And remember- you’re not the one making fun of other people, which makes you the better person.

Saugus, there’s no reason to be a dick.

OP, while it honestly doesn’t sound like a huge deal to me what happened, you need to take into consideration that what people think about you and say to you DOES NOT MATTER. What matters is your opinion about yourself.

There’ll always be jerks out there, but instead of looking up to them like you seem to be doing, come to realize how inferior they are and get back at them.

Good luck!! And it’s senior year… don’t let this crap bother you :)

^^ He said ok.

Haha, Eagle sorry about your day, but if it’s any consolation, you talk about college with me for like an hour at a time on AIM, and I don’t even know you personally. This must be a trend if your friend is calling you out. Just take it as a joke. If you notice the negatives over the positives so often, you’re gonna get ****ed over in life a few too many times.

Truest statement ever.

^Glad we see eye to eye codezmigodez. o_O

Oh. Really? haha I thought you were going to criticize the stupidity of the human race for ruining the environment/killing each other/living under delusions/being full of hate…but instead your friend calls you out for annoying him about college lol

Must better. Still, as everyone else is saying, I wouldn’t dwell upon it too much. Or at all. You’re a senior, for one. Your friend could have also been taking a semi-friendly jab at you. Maybe the combination of both of you having rough days did something bad. Plus you’re probably still stressed from stuff I can’t imagine.

And to everybody being mean to Saugus, is that necessary? I actually find him to be quite witty on occasion, even if it is in defense of only himself and his grades lol.

If witty is being an…, then sure.

If you can’t think of a good enough argument and have to resort to using your STATS to back you up even when they’re completely irrelevent to the situation, you deserve to be yelled at.

Let me tell you something about high school–in a year you’ll forget everything about it except the bad things that really you off or the really good friends that you kept.

You’ll forget the classes, the mediocre people, and the things that seemed so important to you when you were there–like the way immature people acted.

Now, let me tell you something else even more important:
Only one person can make you feel better–and that’s you.

Make a choice to change your focus. You can either let everyone and everything ruin your day or you can wake up each day with a positive outlook and the decision that you control your own life–and nobody else does.

Let’s take a quick example. Saugus insulted you, so you have a few choices:
(1) Track him down, start pummeling him until he goes into a coma, be arrested, and spend the next 20 years in jail (as recently happened to a teenager on the news)
(2) Insult him back, and have him continue to insult you, your lifestyle, your dealings with others until you wish you had done #1, or
(3) Realize that people like Saugus are just immature and don’t deserve your time or effort. This will result in you focusing on other people and other things that you enjoy and give you a better outlook on life. It really is your choice.

Also, be aware that it your choice–and only your choice. So take advantage of that.

P.S. I had even more hummiliating things happen to me in high school–including the principal allowing me to be insulted in front of the whole class at a pep rally. But you know what–looking back I realize that it was meant to be a funny thing and not an insult–and even though I remember it, I don’t obsess on it and I’ve moved on. You need to do the same.

come on guys, ■■■■■■■■ makes the interwebs go around

^especially when you’re name is failboat and you’re in a community college = epitome of ■■■■■.

Not so much the Community College part, but having names that are elements of set {fail, *} is a pretty good indication of your intentions ;)

This was so thoughtful and clever of Saugus.

Being a kind and considerate young gentleman, he noticed that people were ridiculing HopefulEagle. So the obvious thing to do was to insert himself in the thread, which is an automatic thread hijack for people like him.

Now instead of people making fun of HopefulEagle, they’re hating on Saugus instead.

Bravo Saugus, bravo.

Who the hell judges someone as a person simply given their GPA? That is a JOKE. Just because one’s GPA is not a 4.0 does not mean that they are inferior in any way.

fairy_dreams, hahaha!!!

^^Keep in mind, this was the guy who said that everyone with a 2.0 or lower should not be able to go to school.

His logic is a little skewed. He’s of a different species.
