I have an urgent question

So i am in state michigan student applying for the university of michigan. I just realized one problem i have about foreign language. I did not know umich required two years of world language. I only have one year of world language and 4vpa.(4or more vpa counts as world language credit for michigan highschools)

*Also i lived in south Korea for 10+ and indicate that english is not my first language on my application. (I could not test out of korean class since no on in our district was capable)

Would i be find with the umich’s requirement?

contact your admissions officer directly to see what you need to do to make sure this is clear in your package. If you don’t know who your AO is, see if your college guidance counselor at your school can help get you contact information.
I heard this second hand, but was told by a friend that their kid had “equivalency” scores in German and were told that was OK for U of M. Kid ended up going elsewhere though on ED, so I am not sure if they ever got proof of concept.
