"I have gotten a C before and I didn't kill myself" thread.

lol, and yet that C for the quarter which became a B+ for the semester was my only blemish. Sure… my mom went to University of Memphis and my dad is going to Strayer now, but that’s no reason to F me up.

I’m taking this line from my dad,

“It’s hard being this damn good”.

I’m about to get a D this marking period in AP Calc which sucks because my two first choice schools look uber closely at the first half of senior year (I’m a senior) =(

What’s even sadder is that I took regular Calculus last year, so this class should have been easy for me !

^Man! Get that up to a C!

I got 3/5 in Design Tech (sewing) class, whilst all my friends - no, my entire class, got 4s and 5s. I consider that to have been the most pointless class. I spent classtime jamming the machine and ended up doing the actual sewing after school the days before it was due.

i got a c+ in algebra 1 in ninth grade and i still cringe when i see that on my transcript

Got a 78 in algebra II for a term. I just got a 93 the next term, but yea, it’s fine. You just move on :D

I’ve gotten a couple of C’s. One for each year of high school to be precise. Freshman year it was honors physics but I literally had one of the worst teachers in the entire school. Sophomore year I ended chem honors with a 79.4 so I was .1 away from a B- but the teacher wouldn’t change it. And junior year it was pre calc. But whats done is done. I worked my butt off in all three classes and my school has huge grade deflation. They brought my GPA down and ruined my chances of getting into my dream school but I can’t do anything about it :frowning: ughh, writing this kind of makes me want to kill myself now. I still can’t look at my transcript without crying. Damn math and science.

i get better grades when my parents dont NAG ME. “how are you doing in class” “do you have A’s?” “KEEP GETTING GOOD GRADES”. I get A’s when they just leave me alone and C’s when they talk to me about grades.

I’ve gotten D’s in Woods and Earth Science and C in English 1 in 9th grade, but I was pretty indifferent towards most things back then. Since sophomore year (I’m a Senior now), my lowest grade was B in English 2 for a semester and second lowest was 89.4 (I feel your pain MITHopeful) in World History for a semester.

We had school practice math exams (but they’re the ones that’ll actually go on our report, since the real exam scores come after the school year has finished), I did alright on the Algebra, Trig and Numbers but I failed the Graphs paper since there was not enough time to do it in the exam (two hours to do four papers).
