I have literally no idea where to go.

My first choice was Brown and I was rejected.
Here are the schools I got into and am considering:
Tufts, Johns Hopkins, NYU (gallatin), and Tulane.
any suggestions, opinions thoughts or advice on all or any of these schools would be greatly appreciated.
Also if this thread is in the wrong place I apologize, I am new to this site.

What are you interested in studying? Is financial aid a factor?

Why don’t you lay out the pros and cons of each school for us - we may be able to provide some insights if we understand what your criteria were in selecting them in the first place. All the schools you go into are terrific choices for the right person and you can be very happy at any one of them.

Have you visited each school? If so, what did you like/dislike about each school?

Do you have financial need? If so, which school is most affordable?

What is your major?

Will you require loans? If so, how much?

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I apologize for my vagueness.
I have visited each school. I honestly can’t pinpoint what I like or dislike about each one, which is why I am asking other people for insight into what they think makes these schools great or not so great.
Basically what happened was that I got so caught up in loving Brown that I completely forgot about the other places I applied to.

I have no financial need, but I do have a 100k scholarship to Tulane.

I don’t know what my major will be, definitely something liberal artsy: philosophy or film are good examples of what I am interested in.

What I care about most in a school is how happy I will be there. That takes first priority. Not the cost, not the classes, but my personal enjoyment of the college experience.

I was never initially passionate about any of those schools exempting NYU, which was where I was going to apply early until I started to talk to people who attend there who have been less than happy with their experience.
So I don’t really think I am qualified to do a pros and cons for each of them.

johns hopkins has an amazing writing program if you are into that. tufts is a good example of a school that has research opportunities but a strong liberal arts foundation because of its size. also the location can’t be beat. don’t know much about tulane or nyu but 100k is hard to pass up. good luck though, you have some great options!

Just do a search “school x vs. school y” for your schools and you’ll get plenty of pros and cons without us reinventing the wheel here.
