I don't know what to do! People say to major in what you love! Well....what I love, guitar, music, and comedy, won't exactly get me a job, or a least a high paying one. I'm thinking about major in Business or Engineering because it will make me money, but I don't want to be bored with my career. Please Help! I am smart as well (31 ACT UW:4.00).

You don’t need to know what you want to major in yet. Most people change their major even when they’re in college. For the most part, your career probably won’t relate directly to your major anyway.

There are plenty of majors in between music and engineering on the practicality scale, and you could always double major.

economics looks good for almost all professional business-type stuff… that’s what I’m going to study!

Do that on your own time, or as a minor or double major. I (and a bunch of other people) was like that in high school (“I’ll go major in whatever I want”). However soon the realization hits (“I better get a job soon after I graduate so I can pay off these loans. And eat.”).

Take your time, get some basics courses out of the way your first year and then see where your thinking takes you!

I’m thinking of majoring in engineering and minoring in business…that’s an idea if you’re interested in that.
